Dial Combo Lock ("Dial Combo"). This safe comes standard with a dial combination lock. The combination comes preset. The combination may be changed, but only by a safe technician or locksmith.

Electronic Lock ("Electronic"). For an additional charge, this safe may be ordered with an electronic lock with a digital keypad. The electronic lock offers ease of use, reliability, and the ability to change your combination easily and without the need for the services of a safe technician.

The electronic lock has non-volatile memory; your code will be retained even if the battery has been drained. The electronic lock is powered by a standard 9-Volt battery. If the battery runs down, simply replace the battery with a fully charged one. The battery can be replaced from outside the safe while the door is locked.
